Ingredients

  • Raw king prawns
  • Langoustines
  • Nduja (spicy spreadable pork sausage)
  • Butter (1 large spoon)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

 

  1. Preheat the Oven: Light your oven and let it reach 400-450°C. This will take about 15 minutes. Keep the gas on full.
  2. Prepare the Nduja Butter: Mix Nduja with a teaspoon of butter until the spice blends well.
  3. Season the Prawns: Mix the Nduja butter with the king prawns, adding salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Heat the Pan: Preheat a pan in the oven for 3 minutes to reach the temperature of the stone (>400°C). Turn down the gas to minimum, to allow a slow cook.
  5. Cook the Prawns: Pour the seasoned king prawns into the sizzling hot pan and use a spoon to turn them.
  6.  Add Langoustines: Place the langoustines on top of the prawns.
  1. Place some foil over the dish after 2/3 mins to all the langoustines to steam and absorb the flavours.
  2. Cooking Time: Cook for 8 minutes.
