Warranty

 

The warranty applies to the original purchaser of the Product and does not extend where Products have been resold, except for those Products purchased from a registered DeliVita Reseller. You will be required to provide proof of purchase. If purchasing a Product as a gift, the recipient of the Product will have to register their warranty.

Warranty Terms DeliVita Wood-fired, Dual Fuel Gas, and Delivita Chef+

Our DeliVita ovens are crafted from high-quality materials to ensure top performance. However, they require proper care to maintain their best condition. Before using your oven, it needs to be cured. Detailed instructions are available on our website, and this process should be repeated if the oven hasn't been used for a while. After use, store or cover the oven to protect it from the elements.

  • Coverage: The DeliVita Wood-fired, Dual Fuel Gas, and Delivita Chef+ pizza ovens come with a standard 2-year warranty from the purchase date, excluding commercial use. This warranty can be extended to 5 years by registering with the serial number and proof of purchase at hello@delivita.com.
  • Fiberglass Body: The fiberglass body has a 1-year warranty and is not covered under the extended 5-year warranty.
  • Manufacturing Defects: The warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not include improper use or normal wear and tear.
  • Gas Burners and Ignitors: These components have a 1-year warranty and require annual servicing for domestic use.
  • Accessories: Accessories also have a 1-year warranty.

Exclusions

  • External Finish: The fiberglass casing may fade over time, which is not covered by the warranty. Fading and minor cracks do not affect performance and can be refurbished for a fee.
  • Fireclay and Pizza Stone: The pizza stone is crucial for pizza making and should not be cleaned with soap or chemicals. The warranty does not cover scratches, dents, chips, or other damage from elevated temperatures, incorrect curing, or improper storage. Minor imperfections or stains that do not affect performance are also excluded. Cracking to the interior of the oven, Hairline cracks on the refractory base stone will occur over time, this will not affect the performance of your oven and is natural. This can be easily repaired by using fireproof cement putty which can be bought by most hardware stores.

Warranty Coverage

  • Defective components under a valid warranty will be repaired or replaced at DeliVita’ s discretion at no cost, subject to warranty terms and conditions.

Warranty Claim Procedure

  • For support, email hello@delivita.com with the issue, serial number, and proof of purchase.

Voiding the Warranty

  • Failure to follow the curing and lighting guides will void the warranty. Unauthorized modifications, using non-DeliVita parts, or using internal components incorrectly will also void the warranty. Pouring lighter fluids or other flammable substances into the oven is dangerous and voids the warranty.

Delay or Default

  • DeliVita Ovens is not liable for delays or defaults due to uncontrollable events, including natural disasters, war, government restrictions, strikes, fires, floods, transportation delays, or material shortages.

Limitations

  • This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to purchases from Gastronomy Plus Ltd or authorised dealers. Unauthorised purchases void the warranty.

Gastronomy Plus Ltd Obligations

  • Repair or replacement of parts as per the warranty terms constitutes fulfilment of all obligations. The purchaser’s remedy for breach is limited to repair or replacement of components, shipped at the purchaser’s expense.

  • Within 30 Days of Purchase Gastronomy Plus Ltd. will cover the cost of collection and return of the product for warranty repair. If the appliance is found to be faulty, Gastronomy Plus will bear all costs associated with either repairing or replacing* the appliance. (*Replacement is subject to the repair cost being deemed uneconomical.)

  •  After 30 Days of Purchase The customer will be responsible for all transportation costs. Gastronomy Plus will conduct the warranty assessment and repair free of charge. 

  •  In either scenario, If no fault is found, the customer will be responsible for a single hour labour cost at Gastronomy Plus's standard hourly rate.

  •  If no fault is found, the customer will be responsible for 1hour labour cost at Gastronomy Plus's standard hourly rate.

Returns

  • Due to the weight and bulk of DeliVita ovens, we do not offer a sale or return policy, except for defects or damage reported within 48 hours of delivery. Refer to our returns and cancellations section on our website.

Defects

  • Report damaged accessories within 48 hours to obtain a Returns Merchandise Authorization code. Items damaged after 48 hours due to wear and tear are not considered faulty.

Shipping Damage

  • All ovens are checked for faults before dispatch. If damaged during delivery, notify the shipper and Gastronomy Plus Ltd within 48 hours, providing photographic evidence. We are not liable for damage claims made after this period.

Warranty Terms - DeliVita Diavolo:

With proper care, your Diavolo Pizza Oven will provide you with years of outstanding service. We use only the highest quality materials to ensure top performance. Remember, your oven requires regular care and protection from the elements. When not in use, it should be stored indoors or covered.

The Diavolo Pizza Oven comes with a standard 1-year warranty covering materials and workmanship for all components, applicable to the original purchaser when bought from an authorised dealer. This warranty can be extended to 5 years by registering with the serial number and proof of purchase at hello@delivita.com within 30 days of purchase.

Warranty Coverage

  • Manufacturing Defects: Covers defects in materials or workmanship. If a component is found defective under a valid warranty, it will be repaired or replaced at no cost.
  • Gas Burner and Ignitors: Covered for 1 year, with required servicing every 12 months.
  • Accessories: Covered for 1 year.

Exclusions

  • External Finish: Minor blemishes or scratches must be reported within 48 hours of unpacking. Not covered otherwise.
  • Pizza Stone: Designed to absorb moisture from pizza dough and should not be cleaned with soap or chemicals. Damage from elevated temperatures, improper storage, dropping, or misuse is not covered. Minor imperfections that do not affect performance are also excluded. Replacement stones are available for purchase.

  • The repair or replacement of parts under the warranty fulfils all warranty obligations. The purchaser's remedy for any warranty breach is limited to repair or replacement of the component, shipped at the purchaser's expense.
  • Within 30 Days of Purchase Gastronomy Plus Ltd. will cover the cost of collection and return of the product for warranty repair. If the appliance is found to be faulty, Gastronomy Plus will bear all costs associated with either repairing or replacing* the appliance. (*Replacement is subject to the repair cost being deemed uneconomical.)

Accessories

All accessories come with a 1-year warranty covering normal use.

Unauthorised alterations to the Products will result in the warranty being void and that any purchase of Products made outside of an authorised third party or retail channel will result in the warranty being void.

Within 30 Days of Purchase Gastronomy Plus Ltd. will cover the cost of collection and return of the product for warranty repair/replacement. If the accessory is found to be faulty, Gastronomy Plus will bear all costs associated with either repairing or replacing. (*Replacement is subject to the repair cost being deemed uneconomical.)

If no fault is found, the customer will be responsible for 1hour labour cost at Gastronomy Plus's standard hourly rate.

You shall be liable to cover any reasonable costs incurred by us for the replacement of any Products under the above warranty claim conditions in the following circumstances:

  • Result of defective part not covered by the commercial or residential warranty as previously set out.
  • No fault is found
  • Incorrect installation
  • Damage caused at your premises, including item misuse
  • Products being used in conjunction with other goods not supplied by us
  • Modifications made by you or as a result of your instructions to a third party
  • Caused by external or environmental factors. Eg. Any accessories left outside, will deteriorate due to excessive sun, heat, and moisture. We advise these are dry stored when not in use, not in direct sunlight. DeliVita accessories are not dish washer proof.
  • General Mis-use

DeliVita may from time to time change the design of its products. Nothing contained in this warranty shall be taken to oblige DeliVita to include such design changes into previously manufactured products, nor shall such changes be construed as an admission that previous designs were defective.
