FAQs About Outdoor Pizza Ovens
To make pizza in a Delivita pizza oven, you first need to preheat it to around 450-500°C. Once it’s ready, follow the steps below:
- Dust a pizza peel with flour or semolina to prevent sticking
- Slide the pizza onto the hot stone floor of the oven
- Cook for 60-90 seconds, turning it every 20-30 seconds with the peel to ensure even cooking
- The pizza is done when the crust is blistered, the cheese is bubbling, and the base is crisp

The best way to reheat wood-fired pizza is in a pizza oven. To do this, you’ll need to preheat your Delivita oven to 250-300°C.Once it’s ready, place the pizza on a pizza stone or directly on the oven floor for 1-2 minutes, turning occasionally. This method can restore the original crispness and flavour quickly.
It typically takes 60-90 seconds to cook a pizza in one of our ourdoor pizza ovens. For the best results, be sure to rotate your pizza every 20-30 seconds.
