Theo Michaels fires up with DeliVita

THEO MICHAELS was born in London and comes from a large Greek Cypriot family. After competing in BBC television’s MasterChef UK in 2014, he opened his first pop-up restaurant which was a sell-out success and continued as a private chef for a few years. Theo is now an established Executive Chef for an international events business frequently working from a chateau in France or Manor house in Norfolk managing food service for 300+ guests.

Theo is an award-winning author with six published cookbooks and currently working on his next… Several of Theos’ books have been translated into foreign language editions while two of Theo’s books won the 2020 World Gourmande Award. Some of his titles include Orexi, SHARE, Rustica, CANNED…

Theo is a regular daytime TV chef appearing on ITV This Morning since 2016 as well as BBC Morning Live, Steph’s Packed Lunch, Food Network and more. Theo is frequently in the press and radio or hosting cooking demo’s at food festivals including Carfest, National Geographic Food Festival and Taste of London.

Theo was coined as the UK’s “home economist” during the first lockdown where Theo and his kids hosted 36 live cookalongs (3 per week for 12 weeks) capturing audiences from around the globe.

Theo has lived in America for five years and eaten his way around the globe with a backpack, Theo is now settled in Hertfordshire, UK with his wife and three children.

Theo is also co-founder of an online curated meal planning service – taking the stress out of dinnertimes for thousands of families. 

A lover of anything cooked outdoors; be it on the BBQ (only ever real wood or charcoal!) over open flames or in wood-fired ovens; Theo has been working with Delivita capitalising on their high-quality wood-fired ovens to create unique and delicious food.
