An amazing wood fired option forĀ veggie friends and nice side dish to go with meat

Ingredients

  • 2Ā large portobello mushroomsĀ 
  • Olive oilĀ 
  • 50g Parmesan cheeseĀ Ā 
  • 100g cream cheeseĀ Ā 
  • Small handful fresh basil, choppedĀ 
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepperĀ 
  • BreadcrumbsĀ Ā 

Instructions

Carefully slice the stalks off the mushrooms, drizzle with a little oil and slide into the oven for 5-10 mins until softened.Ā 

Ā 

Whilst they cook, mix together:Ā 

50g Parmesan cheeseĀ Ā 
100g cream cheeseĀ Ā 
Small handful fresh basil, choppedĀ 
Salt and freshly ground black pepperĀ 
Ā 

Bring the mushrooms out of the oven, fill with the cheesy mixture and top with breadcrumbs. Slide back in until golden and crispy.Ā
