“Cedar plank grilling is one of the best ways to cook fish and this dish of Dover sole with sweet kelp is perfect for the summer months.”
Ingredients
- 2 Cedar Planks 2 Dover Sole (Skin removed)
- 2 Generous Pinches of Cornish sea salt blended with wild seaweed (Sweet Kelp)
- 2 Glugs of extra virgin olive oil
- Spray bottle of water
Instructions
Soak the cedar planks in cold water at least two hours before cooking.
Allow the oven to come down to around 350f / 175c and push the fire right to the back of the oven as you want some space between the wood on fire and the cedar plank.
Oil both sides of the fish, place onto the wet cedar plank and season generously with the sea salt and dried seaweed.
Bake in the oven for around 15 minutes turning once half way through. Keep the spray bottle to hand in case the cedar ignites!
