We are super happy to reveal our competition winner Kiran from London. Kiran entered our event photography competition and has won herself a DeliVita wood-fired oven. We recently caught up with Kiran and here’s what she had to say.
What are your interests?
Cooking, mainly plant-based and vegetarian food with lots of flavour. I often take inspiration from South Asia and the Middle East. I also enjoy running, long walks on Hampstead Heath and reading. I’m currently reading The Beekeeper of Aleppo.
Why did you enter the competition?
The moment I saw Delvita products at Taste of London I thought they were absolutely beautiful. I’ve always loved the idea of being able to cook outdoors from a real wood-burning oven, experimenting with new flavours.
Any plans to use the oven?
I intend to use it at every possible opportunity! My family and friends have already invited themselves over to taste test my recipes and eat some delicious pizza. Super keen to try making sourdough bases.
What do you love about the Delivita?
I love that DeliVita enables people to cook outdoors using wood-fired ovens! I wouldn’t know where to start unless there was a product like this. It’s great to take a centuries-old tradition fire and combine it with a beautiful, contemporary-looking product.
